My Pick of the Week

Photobucket

We got in lots of cute dresses this past week! My favorite one is this rust & grey square print dress because it is versatile. Add black heels and bold earrings for a night out. Or wear chunky necklaces, tights, and grunge boots for a grunge look.

Catch a Sneak Peek!

Tomorrow we will be putting out lots of new dresses-perfect for Clemson game days or any occasion! Here are a few pictures to see what we have....

Photobucket
This is after I steamed all of the clothes. As you can see, we got in lots of one shoulder designs. I love the one shoulder elvis print judith march dress on the front! I think I may buy it to wear on my 21st birthday in mid November. I like the pattern also broken up by a belt.

Photobucket
This is a beautiful vintage inspired dress that is comfy but stylish with the ruffle detail. I tried it with the double wrap braided belt in camel and it looked great together.

Here is another one of the great Judith March dresses we got! It is not only comfortable but also great to pair with your favorite pair of boots!

Come by tomorrow and see what other great things we got in before it all gets gone!

Be a Beach Bound Beauty!

Ok, so I'm in the middle of packing for the beach (I leave Wednesday) and thought I would share with some of you beauty bloggers a few of my "newest fashion favs" that I have gotten from the store to take with me:-) The destination is Charleston and the reason is for fun (with the exception of a little work that will be done by my boyfriend who is in the exciting insurance business). This calls for the following clothing categories...fun and flashy, beachy and casual chic, and semi business-worthy for the insurance seminar & meeting I will be demanded to attend:-)

Here are some of my newest fashion fav's to keep me from being a beaching blunder!

First of all, I LOVE Joyous and Free! Their clothing is so comfy and they always do the best job of taking a more basic piece and twisting it into a unique style! This orange/coral shade I love, especially with a sun kissed skin tone! The matted gold detail along the bust is perfect for shoe matching! I am pairing this with my new brown and gold heels and wearing this out! You always seem to have so much more fun when you feel "fashion flirty"! One of my favorite things about the LuLu dress is that if our night looks like it is going to take a more "low-key route", I'll just throw on my gold flops; no stress at picking out a new dress...whew(you can do this with almost all of Joyous and Free's dresses)!

This is my plan for the seminar or the meeting I must attend. I just had to throw in a little pizzazz with the awesome flower zipper belt! The style and fit of this dress, by our junior line, is a more conservative and classy fit, but the shortness of it makes it a little more fun and trendy for my age! I have had this pair of Naughty Monkey heels since last summer and I LOVE them! If we have your size in them, you better snatch them up because they are a steal of a deal right now! (I also have a mustard belt & a coral one I would like to pair with this dress for a more fun occation that may roll around. I love pops of color with grey!)

This is one of my casual chic Charleston outfits; a mixture of relaxation and education with a splash of sophistication.Ben shorts by Trina Turk and my "Devil May Care" top by Nanette Lepore! With some gold flops and cute pearl and gold bangles, I'm ready for a day of fun in the downtown shops! I have put my "Devil May Care" top with skinny jeans and heels too! I rolled my skinnys up at the bottom (a cuff of only about an inch to 1 1/2 inches, don't get it too thick), and threw in a clutch and I felt very classy and trendy! My shorts I have also put with a black cotton tank and some black flops! So many options for both of these very neutral colored pieces! Mix and match away ladies! These two are fun!

In Store Photo Shoot

Our many customers living outside our local area who can't make it by the store probably can't even begin to imagine what our store looks like. Well, here's a little secret: it's way smaller than you think! Anderson is just a tiny town, and we're a little boutique trying to make it in the great big world of cyber space. That being the case, I thought it would be nice to share with you a few photos from a recent shoot that took place inside our store.

A little over a week ago, when plans for another location fell through at the last minute, Jake was forced to make due with the space available in the store -- during business hours! What I really expected to be a complete catastrophe actually resulted in some beautiful photos. And even if you have been in the store, it would be tough to notice that the pictures were taken there if you didn't already know! Obviously, it doesn't hurt that we were blessed with Judith & Midori, who are both beautiful and experienced models.

So, here they are:

Judith, wearing a sexy little red keyhole tuck dress by Nicole Miller. If you want this one, you better shop fast because we've only got one left, in a size 2. In case you're interested, this little couch is located in our shoe & tank room.

Here's Judith again in the same red dress, accompanied by Midori wearing a curve-hugging animal print tuck dress by Nicole Miller. This one was also seen on "Ugly Betty" last fall, worn by Betty's sister Hilda.

Ahh, another Nicole Miller. This Tahiti Silk Jersey Dress is our latest arrival from Nicole Miller.

Here they are in our "dressy room", where all of our formals and cocktail dresses are showcased in their own room with a sparkling silver brick wall. These are two of the latest arrivals from our junior line. Midori's yellow leopard printed dress is ideal for the more brazen beauty, unafraid of a little color and a safari-inspired print. Judith's bubble dress on the left is no a little shorter and no less sexy.

Last, but not least..... In this photo, Midori is wearing a gorgeous watercolor print maxi dress by Envi. This dress is definitely an employee favorite. Judith is wearing Free People's Gingham & Lace Dress in royal blue.

As always, we've got to give credit to our photographer, Jake Simpson. Check out more of his work on Myspace.
