DON'T MISS THIS!

If you missed our July tent sale.....no worries! Starting yesterday through July 31st, you can use the same sale discounts that were offered on the regularly priced merchandise, as well as shopping through all sale items that were under the tent that day! We have rolled the racks back out and they are in the store as we speak! How many boutiques will mark pieces all the way up to 80% off? Not many, so take advantage of this! We have had so many requests from customers that were out of town. We have never offered this before, so make sure you don't miss out!

I thought I would share with you a few of my FAVORITE things that were put on sale...maybe this will give you a little taste of what GREAT deals you can get, as well as trendy and stylish pieces to spice up your closet selection!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this zipper dress by Sweetees! All of Sweetees pieces are made with a great jersey fabric which washes well and lasts. The fabric is super soft and super comfy! This girl is super unique because you can actually USE the zippers on this dress! Unzip the zipper around the neck, and you are left with a sleeveless dress that can change the occasion and the season! The top piece comes off as a bolero that can be worn with a tank and jeans!

Another one of my favs...plus....insanely inexpensive for a high end designer! This strapless zipper front dress can be worn for a night wedding, New Years event, holiday party, Vegas trip....or even a good going out dress in the cooler season! How do you make this metal scrunch cocktail dress "OK" enough for going out without looking overdressed? Throw a black blazer over it (short or long), a leather jacket, or a cropped moto-style jacket, tights, and booties or over-the-knee boots...and you have a cute and sassy "night on the town" ensemble!

I am defiantly a jeans girl! Not only that, but True Religion is my favorite denim line! I own these myself, and I didn't get them at this kind of price....the sale price is a STEAL! Distressed denim is everywhere and this pair is cute, unique, comfy, and not overdone! Whether its a cute fitted top and heels for a night out, or a snug tee with boots or flops, your sure to feel stylish and trendy with whatever you decide to pair these hot "holey" bottoms with!

The perfect wedding attendee pick!

Picking what to wear to a wedding can be a major headache! All kinds of things go into play: What time is the wedding? Where is the wedding? Were there specifications on the invitation? What is everyone else wearing? HEADACHE!! Well, I have picked out a perfect dresses that you are SURE to be safe with! All you have to do is accessorize this pretty pick a little differently to accommodate for the time and place! Your sure to get complements on this fashion statement without looking like that girl who wants to draw attention to herself (because remember, weddings are all about the bride, not you!). But with this piece, you can look pleasantly classy and sassy while still maintaining wedding attendee etiquette!

Any "type" wedding, any "time" wedding
KIND OF DRESS

The Zafira Dress by Trina Turk is a perfect wedding pick! With the lace overlay and belted waist, it presents a perfect and "safe" fit for a casual or more dressy wedding! (not to mention the color being navy, which is this summer's "new black")

How to wear it to a casual wedding:
Outdoor/beach wedding do gold sandals like the ones we have pictured. For an indoor wedding throw on some gold wedges with a higher heel. For both, accessorize with cute gold bangles (throw some coral in there, it looks great with navy). If your not a bracelet girl, do a really fun ring like our clustered pearl one! Throw in a gold clutch (or coral if you can find it) and your safe for any casual wedding thrown your way!

How to wear it to a night wedding:
If your going to a wedding after 6, just put on some saucy gold, nude, or tan heels, add a big ring (bling or costume), large gold earrings, and a gold clutch or chain strapped purse! You can even change out the belt with a cute gold skinny one!

Out with the old and in with the new!

Atlanta Market just ended, and we thought it was an appropriate time to let you know about one of the changes taking place here at McAuley’s. We will no longer be carrying dresses by Nicole Miller due to the fact that the line is beginning to flood the market. At McAuley’s, we have always taken pride in being able to provide our customers with unique styles that could not be found at EVERY other boutique you went to.

Now is the perfect time for prom customers to come in – starting next week, most of our Nicole Miller dresses will be between 25 and 80% off! And the remaining Nicole Miller dresses are ones carefully selected… That combined with the fact that we register ALL prom dresses, will make it certain that you won’t see anyone else at your prom in your dress!

We’re very excited about the new formal lines we’re picking up in the near future, so we wanted to go ahead and let you know a little bit about some of them.

We’re looking forward to getting in our first shipment from Phoebe Couture by Kay Unger! Here’s just a little preview of what we have coming in… Many more dresses are coming that we don’t have pictures to share with you!

In addition, we’ll also be picking up Dalia McPhee, who designs dresses for “Dancing with the Stars” host Samantha Harris! With so much to look forward to, we hope our shoppers aren’t too upset that we won’t be carrying Nicole Miller any longer!

Happy shopping!

In Store Photo Shoot

Our many customers living outside our local area who can't make it by the store probably can't even begin to imagine what our store looks like. Well, here's a little secret: it's way smaller than you think! Anderson is just a tiny town, and we're a little boutique trying to make it in the great big world of cyber space. That being the case, I thought it would be nice to share with you a few photos from a recent shoot that took place inside our store.

A little over a week ago, when plans for another location fell through at the last minute, Jake was forced to make due with the space available in the store -- during business hours! What I really expected to be a complete catastrophe actually resulted in some beautiful photos. And even if you have been in the store, it would be tough to notice that the pictures were taken there if you didn't already know! Obviously, it doesn't hurt that we were blessed with Judith & Midori, who are both beautiful and experienced models.

So, here they are:

Judith, wearing a sexy little red keyhole tuck dress by Nicole Miller. If you want this one, you better shop fast because we've only got one left, in a size 2. In case you're interested, this little couch is located in our shoe & tank room.

Here's Judith again in the same red dress, accompanied by Midori wearing a curve-hugging animal print tuck dress by Nicole Miller. This one was also seen on "Ugly Betty" last fall, worn by Betty's sister Hilda.

Ahh, another Nicole Miller. This Tahiti Silk Jersey Dress is our latest arrival from Nicole Miller.

Here they are in our "dressy room", where all of our formals and cocktail dresses are showcased in their own room with a sparkling silver brick wall. These are two of the latest arrivals from our junior line. Midori's yellow leopard printed dress is ideal for the more brazen beauty, unafraid of a little color and a safari-inspired print. Judith's bubble dress on the left is no a little shorter and no less sexy.

Last, but not least..... In this photo, Midori is wearing a gorgeous watercolor print maxi dress by Envi. This dress is definitely an employee favorite. Judith is wearing Free People's Gingham & Lace Dress in royal blue.

As always, we've got to give credit to our photographer, Jake Simpson. Check out more of his work on Myspace.
