Tuck It IN or OUT

Photobucket
You can purchase this top above on our website, just click here.

Kim is wearing a gauzy 3/4 sleeve white shirt half tucked in and half tucked out of a pair of rolled up distressed jeans in a light colored denim. The sleeve length is flattering and the two pockets up the style factor. She is going for the casual look.

DASH Miami

I've been in Miami the past 5 days so that is why you haven't been hearing much of anything from me on here, twitter, and facebook but I am back now & have some exciting things to share with you! Yesterday, we went to the Kardashian's DASH store. They had such cute clothes, but we were hurried to make our flight so we didn't get to spend much time there trying on. I bought a t-shirt with their logo on it for $60 & silly bands that were shapes of them & other things to do with fashion for $10 (hehe, don't think i'll ever really wear them).

Photobucket
This is my sister and me standing out front of the store. It is located on a busy street in Miami called Washington Ave. We were unsure of exactly where it was so after grabbing a bite to eat we walked about 10 blocks to find it.

Photobucket
All the girls inside the store. You can notice all the water bottles lined along the top. They were see through and had a picture of all the Kardashians on the inside.

Me in front of the counter. The girl working was so nice and friendly.

Fitness Fashion Dilemma!

Ok, I am NOT, nor have I ever been, a workout kind of girl. However, I am turning over a new leaf. I'm getting to that age where no physical activity=sore and achy bones! Well, I have a GREAT boyfriend who bought me a membership to the YMCA yesterday! I am very excited, however, just realized I have no workout clothes! I know what your thinking, t-shirt and shorts right? Easy! Well...not so easy for me. I can't wear just any kind of short, it has to be the tight fitted kind, because cotton ones would go up my butt and I would be tugging at them the whole time instead of working out. And about just wearing a t-shirt (which I have 1000 of), that doesn't work either because I sweat like a man! I know that it's okay for sweat to show through your shirt (it's a gym, and everybody does it), but big and baggy tee's make me very hot! So, I was left with a workout wardrobe dilemma and decided to google "celebrities going to the gym"....and....I didn't have much luck getting ideas. Instead, I was STUNNED at what some of these celebrites wore in public, let alone to work out in!

Photobucket

Really? Who would wear this? If you wear this to the gym, with the matching accessories, you need to stop!

Photobucket

Miley looks like she is taking the "walk of shame" home from her boyfriend's house...

Photobucket

Leave it to Fergie to wear a velour romper with sequins, a glorified workout fanny pack, and large headphones!

Photobucket

First off...Ashley "really" works out in these shoes? And how can she get a productive workout when she's having to pull her shirt back up on her shoulder the whole time! Just wondering....

Photobucket

Uncomfortable....Madonna....

I don't understand some of these workout clothes. I mean, they are celebrities, so they know they will probably be photographed....

But I think stuff like what Kim is wearing will be the best for me. It takes a lot for me to work out (but now, since I had someone buy the membership for me, that kinda means I HAVE to go). I am not someone who loves to sweat, and working out won't make me feel any different towards that. I know its part of the package, I will sweat which is fine, I just mean that I won't be layering on extra clothes in order to increase my sweating....yuk! That would mean breakout city! Well, wish me luck! I'll need it!

Kim Kardashian's Everyday Look

Kim Kardashian seems to always shine in her attire! She knows how to pick the perfect outfit for the perfect occasion-from the airport to the red carpets. Get Kim's glamorous everyday look by pairing a light blazer, skinny jeans, summer scarf, and studded pumps. According to Kim's Blog, ranking number five of Kim's Top 10 Fashion Trends sits "Light Blazers! I have my favorite staple black blazer that goes with everything, but I really am loving light blazers for summer." The Boyfriend Jacket in Grey fits loosely enough to capture the slouchy look, yet fits tightly enough to look polished. Straight jeans can be boyfriend or skinny fit, distressed or monochrome, light or dark. Treat yourself to a pair of Citizens of Humanity Elson High Rise Straight Jeans for a dark, monochrome, skinny look or go more casual with Joe's Jeans Raw Cuff Kicker in Kursten for a distressed look. Try a neutral studded heel, such as the Sergio Zelcer Denise Shoe in tan, for a multifunctional shoe that can almost always be paired with straight jeans. These sky-high studded shoes are seriously glam! Lastly, finish off your outfit by accessorizing with a summer scarf. Mix and match patterns and colors or keep it simple and solid-either way it will add the finishing touch!

Look of the Week: One Shoulder Dress

Legs and cleavage are often a woman's best fashion accessory, but if neither are your body's strongest features, or you're after something a little less cliche but equally sensual, look to your shoulders and yield to the one shoulder dress trend. Many of the top celebrities wear the one shoulder dress in many different styles and lengths. Get sexy in lace like Kristin Cavallari, go wild with neon and prints like Stephanie Pratt, keep it simple like Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian or steal Brooke Shields' sparkle and shine. Whichever color and print you choose, you are sure to look catch an eye with the sexy one shoulder glam. Although McAuley's Unique Boutique offers a variety of one shoulder dresses, I have chosen three of my favorites including KLD Signature One Shoulder Dress in Jade, French Connection Crayon Carousel Dress, and Pink One Shoulder Dress by Pheobe Couture, that are sure to keep you smoking hot this summer!

Let us see what fabrics and patterns caught your eye this summer by posting a picture of you in your favorite one shoulder dress!

A staple piece must-have for your closet!

As far as fashion staples, there are several pieces you will never have to worry about going out of style......straight leg jeans, black and navy blazers, black heels, and the LBD (little black dress).

Oh...and the white t-shirt!

This is one of my favorite basic pieces in the store right now!

This slub cotton top by Michael Stars is made out of one of his best fabrics! It is super soft, and the material lays to the body and doesn't create that super baggy look that most women hate about the "boyfriend" style! You can button this one up or wear it open over a tank or even a cotton dress! The tabbed sleeves can also be worn long! There are so many possibilities when creating an outfit with this fabulous basic! Want a way to wear it to work? Tuck it in a high waisted skirt! Going out on the town? Button it up, put a skinny belt around it, pair it with some fabulous ankle jeans, sexy heels, a clutch, and your ready to party! I love to wear mine with skinnys, wedge heels, and lots of necklaces and bangles! (that was one of my favorite outfits I have worn to McAuley's recently)

Want to look "Hollywood" when you go get your tan on? Throw this top over your swimsuit and only button a few of the middle buttons....you have a cute and trendy cover up!

The white-t can be transformed into whatever your personality or "mood" is for the day! You can literally wear this piece for every season and occasion....except formal of course:-) Every celeb embraces their white-T's...look how they rock theirs!

Style Tips for Every Shape and Size!

We all have issues with our bodies sometimes, right? It's part of being a woman - knowing that, wherever you are or wherever you go, you'll eventually wind up at that rack of glossy magazines at the check-out aisle of your local supermarket, being stared down by an airbrushed Kim Kardashian and wishing your figure was as flawless as hers. It's a fact of life that we're constantly comparing ourselves to others, searching for ways to make ourselves look skinnier or more shapely, less tall or more tan. Well, good news, ladies! With just a little bit of cleverness and a carefully planned wardrobe, you too can look as fabulous as you feel - without ever having to spend time at the gym or set foot in a salon! Check out these style tips from McAuley's:

     Horizontal Stripes
Do's: If, like Penelope Cruz, you're slender and have small to average-sized breasts and hips, horizontal stripes will enhance your body shape to make you appear more buxom and curvy. Or, if you want to offset a large chest or a large behind, horizontally striped pieces (skirts and shirts, as opposed to long dresses) can widen your smaller body parts.
Don'ts: Jessica Simpson has always been voluptuous, so she probably should have stayed away from this knee-length striped dress! You can see how it makes her chest, hips, and stomach appear larger - definitely not a flattering fit.

     Solid Colors
Do's: If you're one of those girls who (like me!) is short and constantly trying to appear taller, I have good news! A pair of killer high heels isn't the only answer to your problem. Solid color pieces, like this pink dress worn by Natalie Portman, actually serve to lengthen your body and enhance your height. Seriously, I bet no one on the red carpet that night could even tell that Natalie is only 5"3'!
Don'ts: At 5"11', Taylor Swift is one tall girl, and wearing a solid color outfit would only have made her look even taller! Taylor was smart to choose this cardigan and floral print dress combo, which makes her appear much less lengthy.

     Black
Do's: It's sexy, it's slimming, and it goes with practically everything! Black is easily the most versatile color out there, so don't hesitate to take a risk and pair it with something daring that you wouldn't normally wear!
Don'ts: Contrary to popular belief, black really isn't for everyone! When worn close to the face it can make thin, sharp features look harsh and unforgiving. It can also make pale skin tones like the Olsen's appear almost ghostly white - stylists recommend that women with fair skin go for a nice gray or charcoal color, like this dress worn by Hayden Panettiere, instead!

Well, that's all for now! Be sure to check back next week for more Style Tips for Every Shape and Size. Also, don't hesitate to leave a comment if there's anything in particular you'd like to see discussed!
