Hayley here...all the way from Brazil!!! I have just begun a month-long adventure to see friends and new fashion tricks from one of the most beautiful countries in the world! The majority of my trip will be spent in Belo Horizonte (which literally translates into Beautiful Horizon-pretty, huh?) the state capitol of Minas Gerais.
It is summer here, so of course the trends are a little more revealing than they are for fall in the States. However, I can still pick up on the national flair these wonderful people possess. Clothes here tend to be more colorful, funky, and cut in interesting shapes. Racerback tops, one-shoulder dresses, and strappy sandals dominate the streets...oh, and these people love their jeans!!! It doesn't hurt that they seem to have some of the best bodies in the world too!!!
I'm including some pictures of things we currently have at McAuley's that exemplify Brazilian culture (in autumn time)....Wear any of these pieces and you may just be the next Gisele!!
