While many of us wore our fair share of polka-dots in elementary school, this classic print can easily look grown-up and sophisticated with the right styling. Actress, Lily Collins (pictured) wore a polka-dot top with classic wardrobe staples. She made an excellent decision by pairing it with an elegant white blazer to keep it fresh and modern. If you want to recreate this look, but aren't sure where to begin, let us be your guide. Simply start with a great polka-dot top, such as our Sheer Polka Dot Blouson Top in Black or White, both of which are a far cry from our playground days! Next, add a blazer, like our 3/4 Sleeve Blazer, and finish with a pair of skinny jeans, such as Citizen of Humanity Hope Cargo Skinny in Black or a dark denim such as iT! Jeans Ultra Skinny in Blue Bird. You now have yourself the perfect Collins inspired ensemble!

Take your fav summer dresses into fall!
Ever wish you could get more than a season out of some of your favorite summer dresses? Well, with the trends becoming more "out of the box", and America actually beginning to follow, it is much easier to take your summer picks and roll them forward into fall!
How to do your favorite printed summer dress:

Get this look:
Tabitha Dress by Liquid
Denim Jacket by Joe's Jeans
Flipsy bootie by Paris Hilton
With denim jackets making a strong comeback, it allows such ease when taking those cute summer favorites into fall! Throwing a bootie with this girl allows for a more "transitional" look into the cooler season. Because of the brighter color in this one, you want to make sure to steer clear from heavy winter pieces and deep color tones to prevent a look that screams "I'm trying too hard to keep wearing my summer clothing". Keeping the shoe lighter & shorter allows for a look that appears very put together and creative. It works!
Here is another way to "fall up" another summer fav:

Get this look:
Blue strapless floral dress by our Junior Line
Cream Single Button Blazer by our Junior Line
Willis Leather Ankle Boots by Blowfish
Ahh the cream blazer...such an easy yet classic piece. You can use this single jacket to make so many looks from "city chic" to "the classy equestrian woman". Throw this number over a printed dress like we have above & a pair of ankle boots, or pumps, and you have a very trendy and transitional outfit out of your summer fav. Also, pair this blazer with your favorite black shorts, patterned tank, and booties for a cute fall fashion for your fav summer bottoms! So many options & ways to wear your favorite summer dresses for TWO seasons!
*Make sure the dress has a few earth tones intertwined, if it is a floral print, to prevent your outfit from having that "trying to hard to make my summer pieces work" look like we were talking abut earlier!
